Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) how many leasehold houses in England on the valuation list in effect on 23rd March 1965 and at the latest available year, respectively, had rateable values of more than £400 in Greater London and £200 in the remainder of England;

(2) how many long tenancies, within the meaning of the Leasehold Reform Act 1967, which are now in existence in England will expire within the next 25 years;

(3) how many leasehold houses in England which have appeared on the valuation list since 23rd March 1965 had, when first shown on such lists, a rateable value of (a) not more than £400 in Greater London and £200 in the remainder of England, and (b) more than £400 in Greater London and £200 in the remainder of England; and how many houses as in category (a) were in the list on 23rd March 1965;

(4) how many tenants in England have been enfranchised each year under the provision of the Leasehold Reform Act 1967;

(5) how many tenants in England have each year acquired an extended lease under the provisions of the Leasehold Reform Act 1967;

(6) how many leasehold houses within the meaning of the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 there are in England.
