asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many people in Wales are employed in defence establishments, listing those establishments that employ more than 250 people.

During the first quarter of 1974 there were about 9,900 civilians and 6,221 Service personnel employed by the Ministry of Defence in Wales. The establishments employing more than 250 civilian or Service grades are: Army Apprentice College, Chepstow; RAF St. Athan; RAF Valley; RAF Sealand; P& EE Pendine; RAE Aberporth; ROF Cardiff; ROF Glascoed; RNAD Trecwn; RNAD Milford Haven; RNSD Llangennoch; The Welsh Depot, Crickhowell.
