§ Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is his 478W estimate of the cost to public funds, on an annual basis, of price subsidies to be paid to the North of Scotland Hydro-Electricity Board and the South of Scotland Electricity Board respectively, following the recent increase in their domestic tariffs.
§ Mr. William RossThe compensation to be paid to the Scottish electricity boards in respect of any financial losses which may be incurred by them in 1974–75 due to compliance with the national policy relating to limitation of prices will be determined in accordance with Section 2 of the Statutory Corporations (Financial Provisions) Act 1974 after the end of the financial year.
