§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the member countries of the Common Market which do not operate the UNESCO scheme for the free admission of educational books and equipment; if he will take steps within the EEC designed to ensure that all member countries operate this scheme; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. EnnalsAll member countries of the EEC except the Republic of Ireland432W have ratified the UNESCO Agreement on the importation of Education, Scientific and Cultural Materials—Florence Agreement—and I understand that the Republic of Ireland intends to do so.
