asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how he proposes to publicise the methods which proprietors, wishing to redeem their annual feuduty, will require to take under the terms of the Land Tenure Reform (Scotland) Act 1974.

The Government will publish a free pamphlet explaining in straightforward language the procedure for voluntary redemption of feuduties. The pamphlet, and the statutory form of notice of redemption, will be widely available from public libraries, citizens' advice bureaux, etcetera. There will also be appropriate publicity through the news media.
