To review the operation of the law relating to drinking and driving and to make recommendations.I am glad to say that Mr. F. A. Blennerhassett, QC, has accepted my invitation to be chairman. I intend to appoint not more than 11 members to the committee and hope to be able to announce their names very shortly. I am asking the committee to report, if possible, by the autumn of next year. Its report will be published.
