§ Mr. Warrenasked the Secretary of of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the progress of negotiations with local authorities to obtain their acceptance of disabled drivers badges issued by any one of them.
§ Mr. MulleyDisabled drivers' badges issued by local authorities under the national scheme are recognised throughout England, Wales and Scotland. Parts of central London are excluded because of their particular traffic and parking problems. The Department's recent review of the scheme is almost complete.
