asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is the total amount of subsidy payments made on (a) Welsh-produced cheeses, and (b) imported cheeses.

By 26th July, £1,528,261 had been paid on imported cheeses. No statistics are kept for Welsh-produced cheeses. I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave to the hon. Member for Melton (Mr. Latham) on 29th July.
