Mr. Cordle

asked the Minister of Overseas Development what was the amount of support, showing direct grants and technical aid, separately, provided for each of the last five years to Botswana, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Nigeria, Sierre Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zaire, respectively.

The total amount of financial support provided by Her Majesty's Government on a bilateral basis as grants including technical assistance, and loans to the countries in question between January 1969 and December 1973 was as follows:
