§ Mr. William RodgersThe FH70, 155-mm. towed gun, which is to replace the 5.5 inch howitzer, is being developed in collaboration with the Federal Republic of Germany and Italy. Development is well advanced and it is expected that the first regiment will be equipped with FH70 towards the end of the 1970s, with complete replacement of the 5.5 inch howitzer shortly thereafter.
