Responsibility for purchase and any eventual disposal lies with the Department of the Environment (Property Services Agency) as for all property required for the public service. The total cost of houses purchased to date is £405,225, the price of each varying according to the responsibilities and needs of the ocupant. The responsibility for any renovation and furnishings lies with the Department of the Environment (Property Services Agency) as does that for the annual outgoings.
