§ Mr. MacFarlaneasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects work to commence on Ringway 3.
§ Mr. CarmichaelWork has started on the South Mimms section between the Al and A111. Eastwards and southwards from the A111 to the A13 at Purfleet sections of the route are at various stages of the statutory processes and no starting dates can yet be given.
Work has commenced on the section between the A2 and the A20 at Swanley. Progress on the southern and western sections between the A20 and the A1 must await decisions on the Greater London Development Plan.
