52. Mr. Hunt

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether, under the replacement of primary schools which he announced on 16th July, he will now authorise the London borough of Bromley to proceed with the replacement programme for the Parish Church of England Primary School.

Mr. Armstrong

It is for the London borough of Bromley to consider whether to submit a proposal for this school's replacement to the Department under the arrangements announced in Circular 10/74 dated 19th July 1974. If such a proposal is submitted the project will be considered on its merits and in relation to the needs of other areas.
