asked the Secretary of State for Trade what special concessions have been made for the EEC to allow the United Kingdom to import duty-free nylon and continuous fibre following the Flixborough disaster.

Duties on United Kingdom imports from EEC countries have been totally suspended in respect of nylon 6 polymer from 22nd June to 31st December 1974 and suspended within a tariff quota of 3,500 tonnes of nylon 6 continuous filament yarn and monofilament from 5th July to 30th September.
