asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs why the office hours of the British Embassy in Lisbon are from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. which are quite unsuitable to local requirements.

As I told the hon. Member for Bolton, West (Mr. Redmond) on 10th July, these hours were introduced as an experiment and will be reviewed in a few weeks' time. We have received no complaints.
