asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what reduction there has been in the number of beds available at St. Mary's Hospital, Etching-hill, near Folkestone, due to the shortage of nurses.

Because of the shortage of nurses at this hospital the number of beds available has been reduced from 168 to 134.
