HC Deb 16 July 1974 vol 877 c67W
33. Mr. Ioan Evans

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations she has received from the Joint Committee on Mobility for the Disabled on Lady Sharp's report; and if she can now say what action is proposed.

Mr. Alfred Morris

I have received a detailed submission, including many useful comments, from the Joint Committee which is now being studied, together with the comments from other organisations representing disabled people. The Government are still considering the comments of interested organisations on the proposals in Lady Sharp's report. I am not at present able to announce the results of this consideration, but will do so as soon as possible.
