§ Mr. John Evansasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will take steps to bring the newly constituted water and sewerage authorities under the control of local authorities within the next five years.
§ Mr. Denis HowellThe new water authorities must be given time to sort themselves out before any further changes are made. I propose to review the working of the industry in about two years' time.
