§ Mr. Gregor MackenzieThe financial assistance authorised under the Industry Act 1972 continues to be available to small as well as large manufacturing firms in the assisted areas. We have also given considerable publicity, for example by a formal opening by Ministers, to the small firms information centres. These centres can put the small business in touch with advisers on the soundness or otherwise of investment proposals and sources of finance.
