Mr. Skeet

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will indicate the size of the EEC Social Fund in 1973, and the separate allocations made to the United Kingdom.

The total sum available in the European Social Fund's budget for 1973 was £120 million, of which some £24 million was allocated to the United Kingdom. The schemes for which money was allocated with the amounts allocated were:
