§ Mr. Edwin Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for Energy how much money has been allocated by the National Coal Board for coal exploration over the next five years.
§ Mr. EadieDuring the financial years 1974–75 to 1976–77 the board expects to spend about £4 million annually on the drilling of boreholes deeper than 1,000 ft. and on associated geophysical and survey work. Specific allocations have not yet been made for later years.
