asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many letters he has received about the future operation of industry training boards and their levies; and whether he will make a statement.

Since the Manpower Services Commission assumed responsibility for the industrial training boards on 1st April 1974 four letters have been received regarding the boards and their levies. As I said in answer to my hon. Friend on 30th April, if experience shows that the new arrangements require adjustments I have no doubt that the commission will inform me in due course.
