Mr. David Price

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is his estimate of the total sum of money required to be met in 1974–75 by ratepayers in England and Wales; and how that sum will be distributed between industrial, commercial and domestic ratepayers.

The latest estimates of 1974–75 rate payments for England and Wales are:

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what reply he has sent to letters received from constituents of the hon. and learned Member for Runcorn on the issue of rates.
