§ Mr. Newensasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if the report of the Military Committee of the North Atlantic Assembly on "The Soviet Maritime Threat" is in accord with Her Majesty's Government's policy.
§ Mr. HattersleyReports of the North Atlantic Assembly are prepared by members of the Assembly on their own responsibility. They do not necessarily reflect the views of Allied Governments. Her Majesty's Government regard the report on the Soviet maritime threat, submitted to the Assembly in November 1972, as useful, but they would not wish to endorse all its conclusions.
