§ Mr. BuchanThe import tariff of the European Community does not distinguish cheeses with a fat content between 19 per cent. and 39 per cent. For the purposes of accession compensatory amounts, however, cheeses are classified on this basis under certain tariff sub-headings. The following table shows the net levies chargeable on imports into the United Kingdom from third countries for those cheeses which are defined in this way:
