asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what level of duties or levies is being imposed on cheese imports into the United Kingdom from non-EEC countries.

Mr. Buchan

After applying the monetary compensatory amount, the present rate of levy applied to imports of cheddar cheese from New Zealand under Protocol 18 arrangements is £212.95 a ton. From
