Mr. Geoffrey Finsberg

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list those representations made to him by organisations about pop concerts in Hyde Park during 1974 giving their names and the dates on which they approached him.

The following organisations approached me:

  • 19th March—Greater London Young Conservatives.
  • 21st March—Michael Montgomery Management.
  • 21st March—Blackhill Enterprises Ltd.
  • 9th April—Island Artists Ltd.

The first of the two concerts planned for this year took place on Saturday 29th June. This was reasonably successful and trouble-free, and the second will probably be arranged for next month.
