§ Mr. OakesTo date some £60 million of the £80 million has been provisionally allocated to 23 schemes totalling just over 3,000 acres. Loan sanctions of £33 million have been issued in respect of 12 schemes totalling approximately 1,100 acres. It is not yet possible to say how many acres have been sold on or at what price or to give details of the time lag between purchase and sale by local authorities.
