§ Mr. du Cannasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will extend the Brucellosis Eradication Scheme to further areas of Somerset in the parliamentary constituencies of Bridgwater and Taunton.
§ Mr. BishopMy right hon. Friend will shortly be making an order applying compulsory eradication powers from 1st November 1975 to most of the West Somerset district and three parishes in the north-west of the Taunton Deane district. I regret that shortage of veterinary staff prevents a larger area from being scheduled at this stage.
