§ 59. Mr. Roseasked the Attorney-General whether he will initiate an inquiry into the conduct of the prosecution in the case of Patrick O'Brien and Kenneth Lennon, with terms of reference to include recommendations on a code of conduct for cases where information is withheld from the court for reasons of national security, and on the presentation 34W of evidence in such cases by the prosecution.
The Attorney-GeneralI am making my own inquiries into those aspects of the case which are within my responsibility. When my inquiries into the particular case are completed, I shall consider generally what problems arise and the best way of dealing with them.
