asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a statement on the proposals which he will be putting to the EEC for its price review.

It is for the Commission to make proposals on EEC farm prices to the Council, and it did so on 21st January. A preliminary discussion was held at that time, and the United Kingdom will play a full part in the more substantive discussion which will take place at the Council meeting on 11th and 12th February.
