§ Mr. Oakesasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) which road schemes, urban aid projects and measures for the protection of the environment within the borough of Widnes will be deferred by the Chancellor's announcement of public spending cuts ;
(2) which road schemes, urban aid projects and measures for the protection of the environment within the rural district of Whiston will be deferred by the Chancellor's announcement of public spending cuts ;
(3) if the proposed widening of the Widnes-Runcorn road bridge will now proceed as a result of the Chancellor's announcement of public spending cuts.
