§ Mr. Rostasked the Secretary of State for Energy how the £3 million he is making available in loans for energy—saving investment in industry compares with loans provided by other member countries in the EEC.
§ Mr. VarleyInquiries made in the EEC countries show that no similar scheme is in existence at present in five countries. I will inform the hon. Member if any relevant information comes to light when the inquiries are complete.
