§ Mr. John SilkinThere are important questions here which need further examination. As part of the review of policy on commercial property, my right hon. Friend is now setting up a group to advise the Department with the following terms of reference
To examine the arrangements for carrying out development of commercial property and the part played by investors, developers and local authorities; to consider how these may change; and to advise the Secretary of State for the Environment, either generally or on issues referred to them.Sir Dennis Pilcher has agreed to be chairman of the group. The membership will be announced in due course.
