HC Deb 19 December 1974 vol 883 c585W
Mr. Hooley

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will publish the Government's observations on the Expenditure Committee's report on the wages and working conditions of African workers employed by British firms in South Africa; and if he is satisfied that United Kingdom tax considerations will not inhibit British firms from exercising control over the wage and employment policies of South African subsidiaries.

Mr. Shore

I would refer my hon. Friend to my pursuant reply given yesterday to questions by my hon. Friend the Member for Bedwellty (Mr. Kinnock).— [vol. 883, c. 494–95.]
