§ Mr. Ronald Brownasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if, in the light of Technical Data Note No. 29 (Revised) published by the Department of Employment, in which the fire dangers of polyurethane foam are identified, and the possibility that polyurethane foam can under certain circumstances self-ignite, she will ensure that an expert in the dangers of polyurethane foam will be included in any team investigating the fire at Fairfield, Edwalton;
(2) how much polyurethane foam was used in furnishings in the building at Fairfield, Edwalton; and what was the amount of other polymeric material used in and around the building.
§ Mrs. CastleThese are matters which I am sure the committee now being set up to inquire into the fire will wish to consider. I will bear in mind my 559W hon. Friend's suggestion regarding membership.
