§ Mr. MaclennanMy right hon. Friend discussed the profit margin on liquid milk sales with representatives of the dairy trade in June and has subsequently received written representations on this matter from the President of the Dairy Trade Federation. The Government have now reviewed the target rate of profit and have agreed to increase it with effect from 1st October 1974.
