LyonWe continue to improve our checks against illegal immigration and I shall take any opportunity presented to discuss any other steps we can take, but as I said in answer to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Walsall, South (Mr. George) on 6th December—[Vol. 882, c. 666.]—my purpose in visiting our posts in the Indian subcontinent on this occasion is to discuss with heads of missions the processing of applications from dependants and others who wish to come to this country.
