§ Mr. Mayhewasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when she expects to decide on the suggestion made to her by the Kent Health Authority in February 1974 that the duties of the Deputy Chief Pharmacist at Pembury Hospital, Kent, should be assumed by the two part-time pharmacists currently employed there; what are the reasons for the delay which has occurred in deciding this matter; and whether she will make a statement.
§ Dr. OwenThis is primarily a matter for the health authority concerned, which, I understand, after considering all the possibilities, including a shared appointment, decided that a full-time appointment would meet the needs of the service best. The post has now been filled.
