asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will amend her proposals for a £200 per year mobility allowance for the disabled, in the light of the proposed petrol price increases.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what was the real value of the £100 mobility allowance for disabled drivers on 1st January 1972, 1st January 1973, 1st January 1974 and also at the latest date for which figures are available, taking account of the average increase in the cost of motoring since January 1972; and if she will give an estimate of the equivalent value of the proposed £200 allowance at present money values on 1st April 1975 assuming it is subject to deduction of income tax at the standard rate.
