HC Deb 16 December 1974 vol 883 cc299-300W
10. Mr. Gwilym Roberts

asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection what plans she has to use her powers under the Prices Act 1974 to fix prices; and if she will make a statement.

Mrs. Shirley Williams

My hon. Friend will be aware that maximum prices and retail margins of bread and of butter are now controlled under the Act. Prices orders for cheese, tea and household flour will be made shortly.
