§ Mr. Gregor MackenzieAs regards the cost of the measures foreshadowed in the Gracious Speech, I must ask the hon. Member to await the detailed proposals that will be laid before the House. Government support for industry under existing powers is expected to total about £800 million in 1974–75 and forecasts for future years will be published shortly in the White Paper on Public Expenditure.
