§ Mrs. CastleI gave details in my reply to the hon. Member for Rushcliffe (Mr. Clarke) on 18th November—[Vol. 881, c.337–8]—of progress so far on these recommendations for which I am responsible. Others are under continuing examination. The question of additional financial support for one-parent families must be considered in relation to the child benefit scheme, about which I shall be making an announcement in due course.
