§ Mr. Clinton DavisWith the substantial rise over the last 12 months in the price of aviation fuel, the airlines themselves are acutely aware of the need to minimise its use. In the international sphere, it is and will remain the Government's aim to work for the rationalisation of capacity, through agreements between 141W Governments and airlines, in order to reduce the number of empty seats and lead to more efficient use of fuel.
