§ Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Attorney-General whether he will refer to the Director of Public Prosecutions with a view to prosecution under the Prevention of Terrorism Act the recent statements by members of the National Union of Students purporting to justify IRA terrorism.
The Attorney-GeneralNo statements made by members of the National Union of Students have been reported to the Director of Public Prosecutions or to myself. I will consider any evidence of the commission of an offence under the Act which the hon. Member may send to me.
