§ Mr. Stephen Rossasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects the order of 18th September 1974 increasing improvement grant limits to come into effect.
§ Mr. KaufmanMy right hon. Friend and my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Wales made an order—SI 1974 No. 2004—on 2nd December bringing into force on 4th December higher limits of eligible expense for improvement grants. These are now £3,200 in the normal case and £3,700 in the case of conversion of a building of three or more storeys.
