HC Deb 03 December 1974 vol 882 c423W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many rheumatology units there are in hospitals in Wales; and where they are located.

Mr. John Morris

Although there are no units in Welsh hospitals dealing exclusively with rheumatology, patients suffering from rheumatism are treated in general medical and orthopaedic beds in district general hospitals. In addition there are specialists in physical medicine taking a particular interest in rheumatology at Cardiff, Swansea and Ponty-pridd.
