§ Mr. Mike Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Industry what is the average cost per dialled unit, including rental charges, for a private subscriber with a single telephone who consumes 100, 500 and 1,000 dialled units per annum, respectively.
§ Mr. Gregor Mackenzie,pursuant to his reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 29th November 1974; Vol. 882, c.281], gave the following information:
The costs per dialled unit for a private subscriber who makes 100, 500 and 1,000 dialled units per annum are 28.62p, 7.02p and 4.32p respectively inclusive of VAT. These are a reflection of the relative costs incurred by the Post Office.
