§ Mrs. Winifred Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what are the terms of the new International Oil Sharing Treaty which Great Britain has signified the intention of joining; and what representations he has received against the treaty.
§ Mr. EnnalsI would refer the hon. Member to the reply which my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Energy gave to the hon. Member for South Ayrshire (Mr. Sillars) on 30th October. Copies of the latest text of the agreement have been placed in the Library of the House.
Among many favourable comments I have received only one representation against the agreement.
