§ Mr. FreesonThe continued availability of furnished holiday flats both for holidays and for winter lettings is provided for in Case 10B in Section 3 of the Rent Act 1974. This creates an absolute ground for possession of a dwelling which had been let for a fixed term not exceeding eight months and which had been occupied for a holiday during the previous 12 months, provided that not later than the start of the tenancy the tenant was given notice that possession might be recovered under his case.
